Formula Junior Historic North America 2025 Four Feature Race Schedule
The FJHNA 2025 feature season opens April 25-27 at Mid-Ohio during the all Formula FRP weekend racing event. This is a unique event on one of North America's top road racing circuits.
The 2025 FJHNA vintage racing group's next feature is June 6-8 with the acclaimed Velocity Invitational vintage races and festival at Sonoma Raceway in the famous wine country north of San Francisco. As Formula Junior was the first ever Formula One FIA recognized support series, 1959-1963, fittingly there is also a historic Formula One feature grid among the 12 specially selected and invited groups.
The FJHNA feature series returns to legendary Lime Rock Park August 29-September 1 as a feature for the 2025 Lime Rock Historic Festival 43. This is a celebration of where Formula Junior began in the US as a recognized SCCA National Class for its 1959 season. The Lime Rock circuit is a favorite of Formula Junior racers.
The September 4-7 Formula Junior Feature at the famed Watkins Glen International circuit during the SVRA Vintage w/SpeedTour professional weekend will allow Formula Junior entrants from all areas to enjoy two weekends in a row.
Entry info will be available here soon.

It's A Special 65th Anniversary For Lotus 18 Formula Juniors, 1959-2024
The first Lotus rear engined race car, a Formula Junior Lotus 18, arrived at Brands Hatch December 26, 1959 for the Boxing Day Races. In another first, it was powered by the first Cosworth modified Ford Anglia 105E producing 75HP. Alan Stacey was the designated Team Lotus driver.
